Abstract

We discuss some of the archaeological features present in the end of the Late Holocene archaeological contexts. It emphasizes the zooarchaeological record of Localidad Arqueológica Amalia because contain material evidence on various aspects of the lifestyles of indigenous headquarters late colonial period. Its emphasized in the anthropic use of hills fauna, the introduction of exotic fauna and problems caused by global climatic events that affected natural resources. While the availability of wild animal resources in the colonial era is the result of previous environmental processes that determined the presence or abundance of species is a reference to the model prehispanic subsistence. This allows comparative dimensions differential characteristics between those records obtained diachronic archaeological sites located in the mountains of eastern Tandilia.
