El paisaje del área centro-este de la pampa: bordes, efectos de borde y ecotono

Abstract

Using the formal analysis of landscape it was possible to recognize in the area of study a complex organization associated with the existence of a border with ecotonal effect and also a ‘mosaic’ landscape. This analysis has permitted the identification of different geomorfological unites, recognizing its dimensions, main characteristics, boundaries and also predefining the potential archaeological uses. The social construction of landscape has allowed view and considers the archaeological context of the area as part of one larger territory with which it is related to.
