Abstract

The antifascist political culture has been the fruit of an intense work of historization. A total confrontation with Italian history and its structural weaknesses, that finished integrating the whole anticulation of interpretations and pluralism, thus reaching its more original force. An intense work that lasted more than 20 years and that crossed diverse phases, like the defeat of the years twenty, the one of the formation of a new generation of antifascist in exile after 1929, the one of the years of World War II and the Resistance. This work reconstructs that process crossing three precise geographic places: Turin in 20's, Paris in 30's. and valleys of the province of Cuneo (Piamonte) in the first half of 40's, when the encounter between fascism and antifascism knew its moment decisive, that of the partisan warfare.
