.Abstract
This paper analyses the form that the provincial government assumed the defence of south región of Buenos Aires, specially Azul and Tapalqué zone, with the three military forces: regular army, militia and the forces of friend indians, in the frame of the dizzy succession of military events, that included the fort troops, the neighbours of the frontier, friends indians allied in frontiers, allied lndians and indians proceeding of the other edge of the mountains, in the years 1836 and 1837.
