Revisitando a los ciudadanos de la República Posible (Santa Fe 1853-1890)

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to introduce us; into the dynamic of the second half of XIX century -from Santa Fe-to observe that complex world of XIX century citizenship, treating to point the different ways that conduced to it's constitution. In first place, we will emphasise in the initial process of political building between equals, those people who valued that being "citizen" was a result of a natural condition deeply related with the "use" that they did of their social capital in the fights for power. In second place we will analyse the practices that subalterns actors do, from civil society and into the interior of a public space which gets each time more extend and complex.
