Hacia la historia social de los abogados: una visión del caso brasileño

Abstract

This article aims at examining the recent Brazilian scholarship on 19th Century lawyers. From different methodological and theoretical approaches, social scientists and historians have defined some ofthe main characteristics of a diversity of actuallaw practicioners during the 19th Century, focusing as weil on their relationship with many social groups.
