Abstract
The intervention of social workers takes place within the framework of multiple determinations. The organizational form assumed by state institutions structures, stresses and presents limits to intervention and our relative autonomy. Carrying out a critical analysis of the state bureaucracy allows us to investigate the configuration of these determinants to strengthen strategies that contribute to expanding our margins of action.
